Calum’s a bright Spark

TUNE into Spark FM to hear Calum Hider while you can.

After more than two years brightening up the city’s airwaves, the 20-year-old is leaving the station to concentrate on the final year of his broadcast journalism degree.

We predict big things for this lad – he’s certainly got the gift of the gab and my ears have been glued to his show since I discovered his cockney banter.

Make sure to catch his dulcet tones before he leaves Sunderland and lands a job at Radio 1.

He’ll be hosting Drive Time on Spark on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-7pm until March 29, when he’ll be playing a mix of classics tracks, cheesy tunes and chart-toppers.
