A very VIP night out!

Have your say

WE headed to Passion this week after we heard it had something a little bit special on offer for groups who want to experience the celebrity lifestyle.

The whole club, in Holmeside, has been given a revamp inside but the new addition is the VIP room – yet this is not just any old VIP room, as we found out.

The room is completely separate from the main club but it has huge glass windows so you can see what everyone is up to on the dance floor and they can see you sipping champagne.

It’s the perfect size for a group of you who want to add that something different to a special night out.

Inside the room you can lounge on the zebra-print, shoe-shaped chairs, play on the Xbox and even pick your own tunes to play – you can be the DJ.

You are also free to come and go as you please and leave your drinks inside as there is always a doorman watching to make sure the non-VIPs can’t muscle their way in.

When we arrived on Saturday night it was still early so there weren’t many spectators as we grabbed an RnB CD and started pulling out our best moves. That soon changed as the night went on and there were some very curious faces pressed against the glass to see if we were anyone important – they seemed most disappointed to discover we weren’t.

Once the champagne bubbles went flat we ordered a bottle of vodka between us – this room is waiter service so you don’t even have to leave to go to the bar, and it came with a jug of coke and lemonade – spot on!

It’s a great way to spread the cost of your drink, we just split the cost of the vodka and that was us set for the rest of the night – there was even some left over.

We weren’t sure what to expect from the Passion VIP treatment but we left very impressed and I think we would definitely do it again.

There’s nothing worse than being in a club and hating the music and the drunk people around you, but this way you can decide who you spend your evening with and you can put on whatever songs you want – it’s perfect.

The icing on the cake is the room is free to hire, you just have to ring up and book it – so why not treat yourself and your friends this weekend?
