ENGLISH singer Elkie Brooks takes to the stage in Durham next week - and you could be there for free.
We’ve teamed up with Durham Gala to give away a pair of tickets to see Elkie Brooks on February 7 at 7.30pm. The theatre will also treat you to a complimentary drinks voucher on arrival.
Elkie celebrates her 70th birthday this February with a UK tour and new album.
Now in the fifth decade of her career – and many hit singles, million-selling albums and annual tours under her belt – she is still proving to be one of the most versatile vocal talents of her generation.
2012 saw the release of Elkie’s autobiography Finding My Voice and a re-release of her highly acclaimed album, Powerless.
Elkie has also recently announced that she is working on her brand new album which will be released this year.
On the night of the Durham gig, she’ll be performing classic hits, blues and jazz.
