JOIN thousands of music-lovers for the garden party of the year - for free.
Pop royalty The Jacksons and Glaswegian band Simple Minds are heading to the region this September to headline the annual Hardwick Live Garden Party, set in the picturesque grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield, County Durham.
The music extravaganza will take place over two days with Simple Minds headlining on September 12 alongside pop band Scouting for Girls.
The Jacksons will take to the stage on September 13 when ’80s idol Adam Ant, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, Hugh Cornwell of The Strangers and ’90s Brit pop heroes Dodgy will also perform.
Also adding to the line-up are soul singer Kenny Thomas and Emma Garrett as well as local acts Twister, The Voluntears and Cattle and Cane. In addition to live music, guests can enjoy fairground rides and street entertainers, a brass band, DJ stage and the luxurious Champagne Taittinger hot air balloon.

Friday’s event will run from 4pm-11pm and gates will re-open on Saturday from noon-11pm.
Weekend tickets are priced at £79 for an adult (17 and over), £22 for under 16s (13-16 years) and a children’s ticket (ages 3-12) are £12.
Alternatively, single day tickets are available at £36 per adult, £10 for under 16 and £5 for child on Friday, and Saturday £49 (adult), £15 (under 16) and £8 (child).
