A new band from Sunderland are celebrating after securing their biggest gig yet – at the world-famous Rebellion Punk Festival.

No Cross are a four-piece hardcore band from Sunderland who were only formed 15 months ago.

They were delighted to learn they have been given a slot on the prestigious new bands stage at the event, which takes place in Blackpool from August 6 to 9.

The band comprises Jamie Cutter, 24, on bass and lead vocals, Marty Jackson, 23, on guitar, Dean Liddle, 24, on guitar and vocals, and Andy Wilkinson, 30, on drums.

The lads play a gig at Independent in Sunderland, on Saturday night.
