WEARSIDE singer Jamie Lambert will find out tomorrow night if he and his bandmates have made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.

The 23-year-old received four “yes” votes from the ITV talent show’s judges, after auditioning with his band, Collabro.

The operatic group performed Stars from the 1980 musical Les Misérables, bringing judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon to their feet, along with the studio audience.

If Collabro are among the 45 chosen acts, they’ll advance to the semi-finals, starting on Monday.

Since Collabro’s appearance on the show, they have secured almost five million views on video-sharing site YouTube, and seen their army of fans dub themselves Collaborators. The boys were invited to watch Les Misérables in London’s West End and meet the cast backstage.

Jamie said: “This was just the most wonderful experience for us all. We are all really passionate about musical theatre, and to meet some of the stars, see them in action and talk to them about their work was amazing.”

Britain’s Got Talent is on ITV at 7pm tomorrow.
