Punk show packs punch!

MOHAWKS, Doc Martens and safety pins will fill Durham University for the sixth annual Durham Punk Festival.

It will take place next Saturday, September 10, at the university’s Dunelm House from 1pm to 11pm.

The line-up in the main hall includes The Rezillos, Angelic Upstarts, UkSubs, Subhumans, Anti Nowhere League, Goldblade, Restarts, The Varukers, Crashed Out and Gimp Fist.

This year will also see the introduction of an extra room, the Acoustic Cafe, featuring TV Smith and Ed Tudorpole.

The event has fast become one of the main events of the year in the punk rock calendar and attracts fans from across the UK as well as Germany, Scandinavia and the U.S.

The event is for over 15s and under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult.
