SINGER/SONGWRITER Kate McGill is combining coffee with cracking tunes.

The Plymouth-born singer is heading to the region as part of a quirky tour of Caffe Nero coffee shops.

On October 12 she will be performing at the chain in Middlesbrough at 2.30pm and the chain in Clayton Street, Newcastle, at 6pm.

Kate McGill may not be a familiar name to many yet, but with 22million video views on YouTube and a fanbase extended by the Tesco-sponsored platform 1Click2Fame, she’s certainly not unknown.

The musician also has 43,000 Facebook Likes and 15,000 Twitter followers under her belt.

Caffe Nero are supporting Kate by exclusively offering her album, Replaced, with a limited edition book in 470 of its stores nationwide, available from September 26.

For those who buy her album, they’ll also get a free cup of coffee thrown in.

For everyone else, the album will be released digitally through iTunes and other stores, also on September 26.
