Louis Walsh’s new boyband will be bringing their sound to Sunderland.

HomeTown, one of Ireland’s biggest boybands, will be in HMV in The Bridges on Friday to meet fans and sign copies of their new single.

Debut UK single Where I Belong has been penned by Kodaline.

In Ireland it hit the No 1 spot, beating off competition from One Direction and Ed Sheeren.

The six-piece band supported Olly Murs in Ireland this year and supported The Vamps and McBusted up and down the UK this summer.

The band, consisting of Brendan Murray (18), Cian Morrin (20), Dayl Cronin (21), Dean Gibbons (21), Josh Gray (17) and Ryan McLoughlin (21), also topped the charts in their home country with their follow up single Cry For Help.
