X FACTOR winners Little Mix have been chilling out in Seaham.
After a whirlwind of promotional work for their No1 single Cannonball, North East band members Jade Thirlwall – who used to sing in Sunderland’s Bar Justice – and Perrie Edwards are back in the region.
Following a hectic fortnight after winning the TV talent show, they headed for a pamper day at Seaham Hall with their mums Norma Thirlwall and Debbie Dufty.
The girls are enjoying some time off before the X Factor live tour and launching their album next year.
Jade from Laygate, South Shields, said: “I can’t believe we have been invited here.
“We feel so lucky, and we’ve never had any kind of treatments like this before. It’s such a privilege.”
The girls were given the venue’s sparkle package, which saw them being massaged and exfoliated for over an hour, with extracts of caviar and champagne.
Jade and Perrie and still trying to get to grips with their new showbiz lifestyles.
Perrie from Whiteleas, South Shields, said: “I went to the MetroCentre on Tuesday to do some shopping and it’s so cute. The mams will spot me and tell their daughters and then they will get excited.
“It’s really lovely. Sometimes they get so excited they forget to ask for a picture or an autograph.”
