HEAD down to Independent tonight to catch emerging act, Lilliput.
Considered to be one of the front-runners of the Sunderland music scene, the alternative folk band are set to kick-off the Christmas weekend at the Holmeside venue, taking to the stage from 8pm in what will be their last performance of the year, with a selection of festive and non-festive acts.
The band’s recent release, Until, has been met with approval in the North East and has received airplay on Spark FM, which has led to live performances at The Cluny in Newcastle.
Main support comes from Joe Damien Stockdale and Skylark Song.
Tickets are £4 from Plugged Inn on Holmeside and Hot Rats on Stockton Road, or £5 on the door.
