Fake Festival returns to Chester-le-Street

A Fake Festival which pays tribute to a host of top acts is returning to Wearside.

Chester-le-Street Fake Festival will take place at Riverside Park on Saturday, August 2.

Tributes to Oasis, Queen and Kasabian – Oasish, Supreme Queen and Kazabian – will form part of the line-up, as well as local support acts.

“We’re delighted to be back at Riverside Park this summer, and we’ll be aiming to be bigger and better than last year,” says Bec Evans, licence holder for Chester-Le-Street Fake Festival.

“We will have yet more incredible live music from world-class tributes, catering for all tastes, and encourage you to get your tickets as soon as possible, as they are already selling quickly.”

Chester-Le-Street Fake Festival will see a full day and night of live music, with five local support bands, and then some of the circuit’s best tributes, inside a huge marquee.

In addition, Fake Festivals will be hosting a special three day festival in September, The Big Fake Festival. If you buy a ticket to Chester-Le-Street Fake Festival, or any of the festivals on the 2014 tour, you automatically get a free ticket to The Big Fake Festival at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire, from September 5-7. Just register your ticket code on the Fake Festivals website.

“Once you have bought your ticket for Chester-Le-Street Fake Festival, remember to register it on the Fake Festivals website to guarantee your free entry to the Big Fake Festival too,” continues Bec. “You won’t be able to gain entry unless your ticket has been registered online beforehand.”

l Early bird tickets for Chester-le-Street Fake Festival are available until July 2 priced £16 for an adult ticket, £8 for young persons (10-17), under tens go free.

Prices will rise from July 3.
