DANCE sensation David Guetta will be getting the party started for Rihanna at the Stadium of Light next summer.

As revealed in the Echo yesterday, global superstar Rihanna will be playing the home of the Black Cats on June 20 – and she will be supported by the dance DJ.

The French dance and house producer, who has had five UK Number Ones, wrote and produced Rihanna’s upcoming Unapologetic album and will once again link up with the superstar on Wearside.

Guetta has released five albums since breaking through on to the dance music scene in 2002 with his debut album Just a Little More Love before his first number one with Kelly Rowland in 2009 with When Love Takes Over.

Unprecedented demand is expected for Rihanna tickets, with the Sunderland show being one of only three stadium performances on the UK leg of the tour (Twickenham in London and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff being the other two).

* Tickets will go on sale from 9am on Tuesday from Tel. 0844 844 0444 and online at www.livenation.co.uk.

A limited number of general admission tickets are available from the SoL ticket office, priced at £50. A small number of Golden Circle tickets priced at £60 are also available

These tickets are for STANDING/UNRESERVED, which allows access to the pitch and the unreserved seats in Tier 1 of the stadium only or the Golden Circle.
