FEATHERED free spirits of music B>E>A>K are releasing The Yellow Edition in their The Life of Birds free download series.

The free download is the second release from the Sunderland instrumental rock group’s ongoing series and follows the success of The Red Edition, which was released in March.

The Yellow Edition features new track, Only the Crow Knows, as well as a re-recorded version of an old favourite, Pecky Bird.

B>E>A>K are one of the region’s most vibrant live bands, storming the stage in their feathered alter egos – Blue Tit, Yellow Belly, The Red Rooster, The White Swan, The Green Gannet and The Raven.

Behind the masks lies members of bands including Coal Train, Field Music, Razmataz Lorry Excitement, This Aint Vegas, Boxed Roomer & The Lake Poets.

Cameo appearances have also been made on stage from members of The Futureheads and Maximo Park.

Each edition of The Life of Birds series will be presented via a different coloured bird on the band’s Band Camp site – {,} – and The Yellow Edition is available to download from the site for free now.

The release is accompanied by a music video featuring Kate Middleton’s cousin, Fulwell burlesque dancer Katrina Darling.
