DUST off your deeley boppers and dig out your leg warmers for 80s Day at the Gala Theatre.

The Durham City venue is showing three classic films from the decade on Sunday, November 27 – and cinema-goers are encouraged to dress up for the occasion.

Film fans can even tuck into free retro sweets during the special screenings.

They can see Matthew Broderick in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at 3.30pm; The Breakfast Club at 5.50pm; and Tom Cruise reach for the sky in Top Gun at 8.10pm.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 per film, or £16.50 for all three.
