The appearance of Ultrabeat is somewhat of a coup for the club, which opened in October 2018 after renovation costing around £150,000.

One of the organisers, Jordan Molloy who will perform on the night as part of Escapes said it was ‘huge’ for the club to have pulled in such a big name.

He said: “Having Ultrabeat and MC Cover come to Sunderland and Club Upside Down is huge for the place for a number of reasons. Ultrabeat has been an established international DJ since 2002 and had some huge tracks such as Pretty Green Eyes, Feeling Fine and Elysium (I Go Crazy).
