SUNDERLAND face another difficult task in Durham and Northumberland Division One on Saturday, with Medicals visiting Ashbrooke.

The Wearsiders are marooned at the bottom of the table, following eight successive defeats this term, with only two bonus points on the board.

Newcastle-based Medicals have picked up five wins in their eight games, and are sure to provide a strong challenge to Sunderland.

Matches start at 2.15pm from this weekend, after the clocks went back an hour last Sunday.

Sunderland I (home to Medicals, meet 1pm, KO 2.15pm): Arrowsmith, Hirst, Hector, Wordsworth, Belfield, Finch, Drummond, Watt, Brace, Stirling, Hands, Dobson, Goforth, McNally, Arkley

Elsewhere, Durham City host second-top Guisborough, who have managed six wins in eight matches, two better than the Hollow Drift men.

In Durham and Northumberland Division Three, third-placed Houghton host Seghill, Washington, following four wins out of six so far, have a short trip to Chester-le-Street and fifth-top Seaham are away to Prudhoe and Stocksfield.

Horden, still without a win in North One East, have a tricky home game against sixth-placed Wheatley Hills, who have won five of their eight games so far.
