HOUGHTON will look to outgun neighbours Washington to maintain their pursuit of the top two in Durham and Northumberland Division Three on Saturday.
The Dairy Lane men have picked up 51 points from 10 wins and a draw this term, including nine bonus points, to sit third – eight adrift of 100 per cent leaders North Shields, but just one behind second-top Whitby.
Now Houghton, who overcame Washington 44-12 away in October, will seek a bonus-point victory to stay in contention for an instant promotion back to Division Two.
* Durham City head to lowly East Yorkshire outfit Driffield in North One East. City edged a 20-17 home win in their last meeting in October.
