Houghton eye Feast success

Have your say

HOUGHTON hope to mark Houghton Feast with a derby victory to maintain their impressive start to the Durham and Northumberland Division Three season on Saturday.

The Dairy Lane men have won two out of two going into this weekend’s home derby against Chester-le-Street.

H Durham City gun for a fourth successive victory in Division One, when they host Guisborough at Hollow Drift on Saturday (3pm).

City are in good spirits, having managed 137 points in their last three victories against Darlington, Gateshead and, last weekend, Stockton.

Horden, who have three wins and a draw in their first four matches, are away to bottom club Gateshead, who have lost all four so far, albeit picking up three losing bonus points.

H Sunderland are the odd team out in the 13-team Second Division this week, but hope to arrange a friendly.
