Woodbridge’s finals night charge still going strong

Glen Woodbridge is closing in on a Golden Fleece Darts League finals spot after two great victories.

Firstly, Woodbridge beat Gary Richardson 5-1 and then saw off Don Green 5-2.

Woodbridge produced best legs of 17 and 19 darts (twice) which included a 180.

Micky Long edged to a 5-3 over Steve Carr with a winning leg of 18 darts, with a 85 finish on the bull.

Norman Place raced into a 3-0 lead against John Doran, but Doran took the next four legs and on the brink of a superb comeback.

However, Place held his nerve and won the final leg to earn a draw.

Sue Edwards cruised to a 5-0 win over Paul Wilkinson in legs of 17 and 20 darts.

Mick Seaman drew with John Doran and Danny Cullen beat Kristian Summerside 5-1.

Lee Rump’s great run continues with after a 5-0 win over Paul Smith.

Denny Cullen defeated Micky Long 5-3. Long also lost 5-3 in his next game against Kristian Summerside
