IT was a night of whitewashes as three players enjoyed 5-0 wins over their opponents in the Thorney Close Darts League.

Marco Laybourn was first up, beating Vince Lorraine with help from legs in 15 and 18 darts.

Alan Slight was next, beating Micky Callan thanks to legs in 14, 18 and 21 darts, plus a 180.

Finally, Lee Rump waltzed past Anth Cummings.

In his second win of a great night, Laybourn beat Jack Revely 5-2 with help from legs in 17, 19 and 21 darts, while Revely had 19 and 21-darters.

Walter Scott drew with Andy Lincoln, who enjoyed a 20-darter and a 180.

Anth Richardson and Jack Revely also finished their game level, with Richardson enjoying an 18-dart leg and Revely 20 and 21-darters, plus a great outshot of 137.

Two more games ended as draws, starting with Steve Carr and Tes Charlesworth, who had two 16-darters. In return, Carr hit a 180.

Steve Richardson could not be separated from Micky Watson, whose best legs were in 17 and 20 darts. In reply, Richardson hit a 20-darter, plus a 180.

Chris Bolam beat Andy Lincoln 5-2 and had two 16-darters along the way, while Lincoln fought back with 20 and 21-dart legs.

In Division One, Denny Cullen beat Neil Hardy 5-3, with both players hitting 18 and 21-dart legs.

Gary Richardson beat Alan Garden 5-3, Danny Cullen was victorious 5-1 over Alan Grimes and Jason Allan beat Anth Devine 5-0 thanks to 16 and 21-darters.

Dan Scott drew with Adam Lafferty, both players hitting 21-dart legs, while Shaun Turnbull beat Tony Bryant 5-1.

Jamie Scott was a 5-2 winner over Jordan Cook, enjoying 18 and 20-dart finishes along the way.

The shock of the night saw Neil Hardy beat Darren Johnston 5-0 thanks to 20 and 21-darters.
