Have your say

SUNDERLAND were up against it as late call-offs left them with just 14 men for their North East Premier Division trip to Cramlington Rockets.

Injuries, with no subs available, took their toll in the second half as Sunderland tired in the extreme heat and succumbed 48-16.

James Pocklington, Morgan Lourie and Mark Wilson pounced for three consolation tries, with man of the match Pocklington adding two conversions.

Sunderland visit Catterick Crusaders today, looking to complete a league double.
