Thompson enjoys two wins in darts night

Charlie Thompson secured two superb wins to move up into the top six of the Golden Fleece Darts Premier Division.

Thompson defeated Richie Thoms 5-2, with his best legs coming in 17, 20 and 21 darts, plus a 180.

Thompson then picked up his second win of the evening when beating Jordan Cook 5-1.

Cook responded well in his next game when he came from 4-1 down to claim a draw with Dan Smith.

Mark Reeves beat Jordan Thoms 5-0. Reeves’ best legs came in 16, 19, 20 and 21 darts, including a fine 180.

Paul Williams beat Davy Thompson 5-3 with legs in 15 (twice), 16, 20 and 21, plus two great checkouts of 101 and 100.

Thompson then made amends for his earlier defeat and went on to beat Neil Rose 5-3. Thompson had best legs in 17, 20 (three) and 21. Rose’s best were 17,19 plus a 180.

Graeme Hills beat Marco Laybourn 5-3, while Pete Wilson defeated Norman Place 5-0.

Anth Skelton beat Paul Moon 5-1 with legs in 20,21 plus a 180.

Denny Cullen beat Steve Carr 5-2 with both players best legs 19 darts.

Steve Richardson beat his son, Gary, 5-1 with best legs of 18, 20 and 21 darts.
