ENGLAND selectors have released details of the team for the home international series due to be played at Llandrindod Wells in Wales.

Silksworth’s David Bolt retains his place, but is promoted to third bowl in team captain Cumbria’s Stuart Airey’s rink.

The series takes place on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1.

In the Bowls England over 55 singles, Silksworth stalwart Bobby Rollason had a cracking 21-20 win over Sherburn Park’s James Agnew and now faces club mate Billy Ferry.

In the champion of champions, Silksworth’s David Bolt defeated Seaham’s Jimmy McAdoo 21-12 to set up a trip to Leadgate against Peter Coulson.

Thompson Park’s Dennis Hulley went down 21-14 to Darlington RA’s Andrew Kirtland, while in the double fours, Roker Marine entertain Owton Lodge on Sunday, June 10 at 6pm.
