STEPHEN Craigie staged a dramatic fightback to claim a fighting 4-4 draw against Antony Parsons in the Lumley Snooker Premier League.

Teessider Parsons stormed 4-1 up in the league’s second match of the season, clearing from the green to win the opener 61-53 and surviving a 109 clearance from Tynesider Craigie in the second to take the next three on the trot, 73-64, 66-32 and 69-49.

Craigie rallied with an unanswered 90 break to cut the deficit to 4-2, then had breaks of 26 and 44 for a 70-0 win in the seventh, before a break of 74 helped clinch a 93-6 final-frame win to level it up.

Next week’s match sees David Lilley up against Ritchie Beckham on Monday (7.30pm).
