Steels get season back on track with huge win

Have your say

STEELS have now put the bad start to season behind them and are creeping up on the leaders.

A convincing 8-0 away win at Mitchells gave them another boost.

Plains Farm and Grindon drew 4-4 in a game that swung one way then the other.

Plains Farm won the first rink but Grindon came back fighting with skip J.Sergeant in defiant mood clinching the second rink.

M.Laydon then made sure that Plains Farm would share the spoils by winning the last rink.

Town End Farm won 8-0 but the score did not reflect the game as Silksworth Comrades battled them close throughout.

Hetton were 6-2 winners over Farringdon.

St Leonards are starting to put their game together, with a 6-2 home over Grangetown.
