In Group One of the Danby Autos Sunderland Snooker Summer League, South Hylton B travelled to Seaham Conservatives and got off to a winning start, with Phil Burford triumphant.
Adam Smith and Graham Rutland moved Hylton further ahead before Smith, when paired with Burford, claimed the pairs frame to complete the whitewash.
Martin Ball got Lumley A off to a flying start against Farringdon.
Micky McLoughlin levelled the match before Jimmy Jackson restored Lumley’s lead.
Dave Robinson and McLoughlin won the pairs to share the points in a well-earned 2-2 draw.
The Victory’s good run continued with a 4-0 victory at home to Pennywell Comrades A.
In Group Two, it was a battle at the top with South Hylton A welcoming Steels.
Tom Ayre got Steels off to the perfect start before Ian Stewart levelled.
Ray Charlton Jnr won the third frame, before Stewart and Kevin Harrop won a pairs to force a 2-2 draw.
Brian Meuse got Lumley B off to a winning start away to Cheemas B, before Alec Hannan clinched the second frame.
Lee Campion pulled one back for Cheemas, before Hannan and Brian Meuse won the pairs for the 3-1 win.
Biddick B had an excellent 4-0 win at home to Murton Colliery.
In Group Three, an excellent 4-0 win for Green Baize over Mill View B moves them two points clear at the top of the group.
Cheemas A travelled to The Railway, but were beaten 3-1.
Biddick A came from behind to secure a 3-1 win over Pennywell Comrades B.
