Shaun Turnbull blew a 5-0 lead to draw 6-6 with league leader Tony Cummings.

Turnbull took control of the match from the start with tremendous power scoring but allowed Cummings to pinch a draw with 18 and 20 dart legs.

“Snake Bite” Bobby Turnbull closed the gap at the top with a fine 7-1 win over “Taffy” Dean Parker, with Turnbull sealing a dominant win with 16 and 18 dart legs.

In third place, Scott Anderson earned 7-2 victories over both Liam Turnbull and Neil Hardy.

Firstly, in a tight match with Turnbull, Anderson hit winning legs in 15, 17, 19, 20 & 21 (x2) darts with a 180 for good measure.

In another tight game with Hardy, Anderson took out winning legs in 17, 19, 20 and 21 darts with another 180, with Hardy’s best leg coming in 18 darts.

Hardy would end the night with a victory, beating Anth Charlton 7-2 with a fabulous 180 on the way.

Rising up the table with another two victories, Jon McDowall firstly defeated Stevie “Jekyll” Gettins 7-2 with 18 (x2) and 19-dart legs.

Gettins also hit a 18-dart leg with a superb shanghai 120 checkout.

McDowall would also defeat Jake O’Brien 7-3 with 21 (x2) winning legs.

Scott Turnbull also looked to cement his place in the top eight with a fine 7-2 win over Stevie Gettins, with best winning legs coming in 18 & 20 (x2) darts.
