Richardson takes it to the max in the Knack Darts Premier League

Davey ‘The Face’ Richardson returned to winning ways in the Knack Darts Premier League as he picked up maximum points from two wins.

Firstly, Richardson edged to a 5-3 victory over Tyne and Wear County team-mate Chris Vaughan.

Richardson hit a fantastic 12-dart leg which was rounded off with a brilliant 161 finish.

Richardson then eased to a comfortable 5-0 victory over John Scullion in his second game.

Paul McGowan and Chris Vaughan were involved in a top class match that saw Vaughan come out on top as a 5-2 winner.

Ryan Joyce was made to work hard for both of his wins this week, when defeating Richard Selby (5-3)and Rob McCluskey (5-1).

However, McCluskey was a 5-2 winner in his other game against David Brown.

Chris Vaughan then heaped more misery on Brown with a 5-0 victory.

John Watson also picked up maximum points when he beat Scullion (5-1) and Dave Prins (5-1).

Prins earlier in the night had seen off Spiller Henderson (5-1) and Andrew Ambler (5-1).

Henderson and Arran Samuels shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw. Samuels then played out another draw with Richard Selby.

Eddie Ashman beat Philly Dunn 5-1, but then lost out 5-2 against Davey Thompson.

Matthew Hodgson picked up maximum points when he defeated Graeme Hills (5-2) and Dan Gillibrand (5-3).

Gillibrand was then made to work hard for his 5-2 win over Ross Guy. Guy was then hammered 5-0 by Dougie Hall.

Anth Skelton stormed to a 5-1 win over Scullion, but then lost 5-2 to Paul McGowan. McGowan was then a 5-3 winner over Allen George.

George had to settle for a point in his second game against Graham Mullen.

Philly Dunn was beaten 5-3 by Graeme Hills.

Elsewhere in the league, Neil Rose secured two 5-2 wins over Davey Thompson and Andrew Ambler.

Finally, Graham Mullen was a 5-2 winner over Dougie Hall which saw Mullen hit best legs of 16, 18 and 19 darts. Hall’s best was a 111 finish in a 15-dart leg.
