THE leadership of the North Durham Union League’s First Division is up for grabs tonight, with the top two teams in opposition.

Ramside Hall host Wearside in the match of the night, with the home team two points ahead of their Coxgreen visitors after four matches of the new season.

Wearside will travel in confident mood, having thumped previously unbeaten Ravensworth 12-2 last week.

Only three points separate the top four in Division Two, with Houghton, 13-1 victors against South Shields last week, aiming to make it three home wins out of three when Beamish Park visit Copt Hill tonight.

Bottom club George Washington are still hunting their first victory but may fancy their chances against a Crook team who have lost twice on the road already this term.

Seaham, second bottom but only eight points adrift of top spot, entertain Beamish Park.

Whitburn, lying third in Division Three, tackle bottom club Garesfield.
