McBane’s over the moon with first victory

Mick McBane secured his first win of the Golden Fleece Darts League season when he defeated Paul Moon 5-1.

McBane enjoyed winning legs of 20 and 21-leg darts, plus he hit a 180.

Lee Rump had to come back from 4-2 down to earn a draw in McBane’s other match on the night.

Both players had two 21-dart legs as their best.

Jaxon Douglass beat Paul Moon 5-2 and Kev Long defeated Steve Carr 5-2.

Gary Richardson dug deep to beat Jordan Crouch 5-3, with a best leg of 20 darts.

Marco Laybourn stormed to a 5-0 victory over Owen Storey, with winning legs of 19 and 20 (twice) darts.

Baz Walker beat Pete Wilson 5-3, with best legs of 15 and 16-leg darts, including two 180s.

Andy Clark eased to a 5-0 win over Don Green with best legs of 20 and 21 darts.

Don Green bounced back from an earlier defeat to beat Owen Storey 5-1.

Denny Cullen also strolled to a 5-0 win over Norman Place.

Micky Watson clinched the final leg to earn a draw against Micky Long, both players enjoyed 20-dart winning legs.

Watson also had a great finish of 129.

In the final match of the evening, Steve Richardson beat Jaxon Douglass 5-0.
