MARCO Laybourn moved up to second in the Thorney Close Darts league after a double dose of victories.

His first win was a thumping 5-0 against Andy Lincoln, his best legs being 18, 19 and 20 darts and a 113 checkout. Marco then beat Anth Cummings 5-3.

The upset of the night saw Anth Richardson beat Ian Jarvis 5-2.

Richardson hit 15, 16 and 20-dart legs plus a 180 109-outshot. Jarvis’s best was a 21-darter.

Jack Revely got back to winning ways, beating Micky Watson 5-1.

Vince Lorraine drew with Micky Callan, Lorraine’s best being 19 and 20-darters, with Callan’s best in 18, 19 and 20 darts.

Walter Scott beat Lee Rump 5-2, with Scott’s best being 18 and 21-darters, with Rump’s in 17 and 21 darts.

Steve Carr beat Anth Cummings 5-0, Carr scoring a 121 finish.

Adam Lafferty stayed joint top with a 5-1 win over Alan Garden, Lafferty scoring 17 and 21-dart legs.

Dennis Cullen kept his good run going with a 5-2 win over Jason Allan, both players scoring 20-dart legs.

Gary Richardson beat Anth Devine 5-3, with both players having 20 and 21-darters.

Darren Johnston stayed joint top with a 5-0 win over Danny Cullen, Johnston hitting two 21-dart legs.

Jamie Scott beat Alan Grimes 5-0, while the last game of the night saw Shaun Turnbull beat Tony Bryant 5-2.
