Magic Marco Laybourn is too hot for Andy Lincoln

MARCO Laybourn hit a superb 160 checkout in the Thorney Close Premier League.

The highest check-out to date helped him to a 5-3 win against Andy Lincoln which included two 18-dart legs and a 19-darter, as well as a 115 checkout.

Also in the Premier League, Jack Revely beat Tommy Callan 5-1 with legs in 20 and 21 darts, as well as a 94 checkout. Callan had a 21-dart finish and a 71 checkout.

Vince Lorraine beat newcomer Micky Callan 5-3 in a tight match, with legs in 19 and 21 darts plus a 113 checkout. Callan responded with two 20-dart legs.

Anth Richardson drew 4-4 with Ian Jarvis, fighting back from 4-0 down. He had a 17-dart and a 20-dart leg, as well as a maximum 180.

Terry Charlesworth beat Steve Richardson 5-3 with the highlught a superb 15-dart leg. Richardson had three 21-dart legs and a 132 checkout, but it was not enough,

Alan Slight beat Micky Brown 5-0, and Chris Bolam saw off Steve Carr by the same score, with 17 and 18-dart legs, as well as a 180.

In Division One, Jordan Cook continued his unbeaten run with a 5-2 win against Dan Scott, the highlight being a 71 outshot on the bull.

Jason Allen picked up his first win with a 20 and 21-dart leg as he beat Denny Cullen 5-3.

Graham Mitton beat Shaun Turnbull by the same score, while, Jamie Scott eased to a 5-2 victory over Dawn Evans with two legs in 20 darts and a 180 maximum.

Adam Lafferty eased past Alan Garden 5-1, hitting two legs in 18 darts as well as having a 118 and 101 checkouts.

Gary Richardson lost out to Anth Devine 5-2 in a scrappy match, while Neil Hardy won his first points on the season, beating Tony Bryant 5-0.
