LEADER Micky Callan suffered his second defeat of the season in the Thorney Close Darts Premier League.

He went down 5-3 to third-placed Steve Richardson, who won two of his legs in 18 darts and had a 104 outshot as he moved within five points of the leader.

Marco Laybourn is also five points adrift after playing twice, winning both games 5-2.

He beat Tony Richardson and then Alan Slight, winning two of his legs in just 16 darts.

The first match of the night saw Darren Johnston win his first game of the season, beating Jack Revely 5-2.

Tom Davies beat Andy Lincoln 5-2, including a great 13-darter that included a 180.

Walter Scott beat Vince Lorraine 5-1, Alan Slight saw off Dan Scott 5-3, while Steve Carr drew with Ian Wilkinson.

Jamie Scott maintained his good run in Division One with a 5-1 win over Kristian Kummerside, winning two legs in 19 darts.

Tony Cummings beat Tony Bryant 5-1, including a 21-darter plus a 180.

Anth Cummings beat Danny Cullen 5-2 before Denny Cullen won 5-1 against Paul Wilkinson including a 115 outshot.
