IAN Jarvis had a great night in the Premier Division of the Thorney Close league with two fine 5-0 wins.
He defeated champion and league leader Steve Dykes and then saw off Denny Cullen by the same scoreline.
Dykes stormed back from his defeat to whitewash Jamie Scott 5-0.
Darren Johnston stormed into a 3-0 lead against Craig Ryan but then lost the next four legs. However, he managed to hang on and took the final leg to get the draw.
Tony Cummings drew with Marco Laybourn, with both players’ best legs in 17 darts. Cummings also hit a 180.
Tom Davies beat Ian Wilkinson 5-2 including legs in 17 and 20 darts, as well as two 180s. Wilkinson’s best leg was in 21 darts, with an 87 finish.
Jack Revely beat Vince Lorraine 5-1, while Baz Walker – who has taken over from Lee Rump – won his first match 5-2 against Steve Richardson. Walker’s best legs came in 17,20 and 21 darts, with Richardson winning one in 16.
Steve Richardson beat Tom Davies 5-1, including legs in16 and 17 darts, while Andy Lincoln drew with Baz Walker. Lincoln had a great 125 check-out, with Walker going out on a 95 finish.
In Division One, Darren Noble moved into top spot with a 5-0 win over Tony Bryant.
Paul Wilkinson also beat Bryant 5-3, including a 21-dart leg and a 147 finish.
Andy Clark beat Gary Bramley 5-0 and then saw off Andy Clark 5-2.
Alan Garden had a great 5-2 win against John Doran, with both players enjoying 21-dart leg wins, while Anth Cummings was a 5-3 winner against Tony Bryant.
