Anth Skelton was brought crashing down to earth when he was thumped 5-0 by Kevin Guy in the Seaham Knack Premier League.

Twenty four hours prior, Skelton was on cloud nine as he was crowned the champion of the Seaham Monday Night Singles.

Kevin Guy put in another classy performance which saw both players hit maximums with Guy winning in legs of 21 (twice), 23, 17 and 19 darts and move up to second place.

Southwick’s Paul Williams remains top after an excellent 5-1 win over Eddie Ashman, who won his solitary leg in 17 darts.

Williams legs came in 20, 18 (twice), 15 and 22 darts, including checkouts of 138 and 109.

Davey Thompson moved up to eighth when he beat Neil Mather 5-0, with legs of 17 (twice), 18 and 20 darts, including a 103 finish.

Graham Mullen made easy work of Neil Rose as he eased to a 5-0 win in 19, 18, 17, 16 and 20 darts, including a 180 and a 110 checkout.

Ryhope’s John Redpath also hit a maximum and had best legs of 17, 18 and 21 darts in a 5-1 win over Neil Richardson.

Mark Robinson moved up to ninth after a hard-fought 5-2 win over Alan Smith.

Martin Price took full advantage of missed doubles by Eddie Guy, as Price came out on top 5-2 helped by a maximum.

Spiller Henderson was a 5-2 winner against Barry Rutherford. John Squire hit a 180 and an eighth-leg 116 finish as he snatched a point against Anthony Gale in a 4-4 draw.

Ray Malarkey also hit a maximum and had a 100 finish as he ended a run which has seen him lose 10 games in a row.
