SPILLER Henderson showed what he’s capable of as he dismantled Paul Gillibrand 5-0 in the darts Knack Premier League.

Neil Rose recovered from last week’s setback to preserve his unbeaten record as he beat Martin Price 5-0. Rose made an excellent start, taking the first three legs in 14,16 and 17 darts before wrapping up a fine win with a 180.

Eddie Ashman was again in fine form as he beat Tyne and Wear county player, Kevin Guy, 5-1 to gain revenge after Kevin had beaten him by the same scoreline in the first half of the season.

Davey Thompson remains in third place with the 5-0 demolition of Anth Skelton.

Alan Smith continued his recent good run to keep him in contention of the top eight with a hard fought 5-3 victory against youngster Phil Dunn.

Graham Mullen was pushed hard by Ryhope’s John Redpath but still managed a 5-2 win despite John hitting a 180.

Neil Richardson moved out of the bottom two for the first time this season with the help of a 180, as he grabbed a point in a 4-4 draw against Spiller Henderson.

Anthony Gale poured more misery on Paul Gillibrand with a 5-3 victory as he took advantage of some slack darts on the doubles by Paul to complete a fine win.

In the nights final game, John Allan hit his first 180 of the season but it was to no avail as Steve Skinner stayed 7th with the help of an 18 darter in a 5-1 win.
