Hellens’ hell is over as he secures first victory of the season

It was a magical night for Jeff Hellens after he picked up his first win in the Plains Farm Premier Darts League, beating against Matt Naisby 5-3.

Bob Laybourne was held to a draw against Scott Turnbull and Andy Lincoln ran out a 6-2 winner against Anth Charlton.

Steven Dykes also won 6-2 against Tommy Davies, but Ian Jarvis punished Dykes, hitting a 180 on the way victory.

Tony and Anth Cummings where up next, with Tony beating his son Anth, 5-3.

Shaun Turnbull was a convincing winner against Lee Ridly, winning 8-0

Tommy Davies and fellow county player Bobby Turnbull both hit high scores and 180s, but it was Davies who came out on top, winning 5-3.

Tony Cummings enjoyed a 5-3 victory over Andy Chorley.

In Chorley’s second game, he drew with 4-4 with Lee Ridly.

Bobby Turnbull got back to winning ways against Toby Thomas, winning 7-1, with Turnbull hitting a 180 and winning legs of 18, 19 and 20 darts.

H Plains Farm Premier Darts League would like to congratulate Steven Dykes on his man-of-the-match performance for the Tyne and Wear County Men’s B team as he helped them win 20-16 against Middlesex.
