HOUGHTON CC held the first in their series of nine-mile time trial events on Tuesday on the Leamside course.

There was a full field of 25 riders and 11 of these were Houghton riders. The outright winner was Mark Harrison.

Harrison also competed at the Darlington CC SPOCO League 23-mile Time Trial on Saturday and finished in ninth position.

H Houghton CC are holding circuit racing at Hetton Lyons Country Park tomorrow.

The first race is a Youth only race, starting at 10.30 am followed by a Regional B Race for third and fourth category riders starting at 12 noon. The last race is a National B Race for Elite/1/2/3 category riders commencing at 1.30pm. Late entries will be taken on the line.
