DURHAM will only have two home games in the 2011 Daily Telegraph Northern Counties Championship.

James Handy’s side start against Lancashire at Brancepeth Castle on May 7 before visiting Cumbria (May 28) and Cheshire (July 2). Durham host Yorkshire at Consett on August 6 before finishing off against Northumberland at Matfen Hall on August 27.

The County representative side have also arranged three friendlies before the league begins – against the Durham County Junior Golfing Society at Hobson on April 3, the British Universities team at South Moor (April 17) and the Teesside Union at Darlington (May 1).
