DURHAM City landed the Durham County Clubs Championship by four shots at Seaham - posting three impressive rounds.
Graeme Marchbank and Jack Richardson both carded one under par rounds of 69, backed by a level par 70 from Alex Robinson.
City ended up with a total of 208, four better off than runners-up Darlington, for whom Andrew Wilson hit a one under par 69.
Bishop Auckland were six shots further back in third place, with Wayne Melles (72) their best round, while Brancepeth Castle came in fourth on 219, thanks largely to 71 apiece from Richard Aisbitt and Daniel Fox.
Wearsider Martin McCririck was the stand-out performer for South Shields, shooting a one over par 71 as they finished seventh on 221.
Heworth’s Aaron Scott had the best round of the day, two under par 68, but his side could only end eighth.
David Vest carded a two over par 72 as Wearside ended 11th on 225, with Howard Walton adding a fine 73 and Daniel Hair 80.
