ANTH Charlton maintained his recent improvement by holding his nerve and taking a great 5-3 win over Jeff Hellens in the Plains Farm Premier League.

Bob Laybourne had a great battle with Tony Cummings which ended in a draw. Bob won legs in 16 and 20 darts, with Tony taking one in 17 darts.

Cummings had a second game and showed no mercy against Matt Naisby with an 8-0 win.

In Matt’s second game, Lee Ridly beat him 7-1 – though it was closer than the score suggests.

Ridly then lost out 6-2 to Andy Lincoln, who won two legs in 21 darts.

Tommy Davies beat Toby Thomas 6-2, winning one leg in 18 darts and three in 19.

Doug Robson played well against Andy Chorley to race home 8-0. He won legs in 17 darts twice and 19 twice.

Robson and Tommy Davies had a fantastic game, with both players scoring well – but Doug took advantage of Tommy missing doubles to take a 6-2 win.
