MARCO Laybourn strengthened his position at the top of the Thorney Close Premier League with a 5-0 win over Dan Scott.

Laybourn dominated through out and had best legs in 19 and 20 darts.

Micky Callan’s challenge faltered with a 5-3 defeat to Steve Carr, whose best leg in just 14 darts.

Callan bounced back with a 5-2 win against Darren Johnston, who had an 18-darter with a 130 checkout on the bull.

The game of the night saw Walter Scott draw with Ian Wilkinson with both players winning two legs in 18 darts, while Wilkinson also had a 180.

Paul Revely beat his son Jack 5-3 too move above him in the league, while Alan Slight drew with Steve Dykes in another very tight match.

Andy Lincoln beat Alan Slight 5-2, including a great 14-darter with a 93 outshot.

Vince Lorraine beat Dan Scott 5-2, while Walter Scott saw off Tony Richardson 5-1.

In the first division, Denny Cullen stayed top with a 5-2 win over Adrian Burgess.

Jamie Scott stays on Cullen’s heels with a 5-3 win over Anth Cummings, also throwing a 180.

Anth Cummings beat Danny Cullen 5-3, with both players’ best legs in 21 darts, while Paul Wilkinson drew with Alan Garden. Tony Cummings also beat Danny Cullen 5-2.
