SILKSWORTH’S David Bolt helped England to victory in the Home International Series held at Dublin.
It was England’s first title in six years.
Bolt played third to Cumbria’s Stuart Airey in all three games and returned a record of one win and two losses.
In the opening game, England defeated Scotland by five shots and then defeated Wales by 28 shots to set up a winner-takes-all decider against the host country Ireland.
In the end, a late surge sealed a 20-shot win and the title.
In the Ladies’ equivalent event held in Glasgow, England went through undefeated with four straight wins to take the title.
