SCOTT Anderson was quick to make a magnificent impact in his debut in the Plains Farm Premier Darts League, storming to a pair of 8-0 victories.
Replacing Steve Clark in the league, Anderson first outgunned Toby Thomas, with best legs of 17, 18 and 19 (twice) darts.
Anderson posted a maximum 180 in his second whitewash, against Jeff Hellens, helped by two 20-darters and a 19-dart leg.
Anderson, adding a catch-up fixture to his busy schedule, made it three wins out of three by overcoming fellow County player Tommy Davies 6-2, helped by legs of 17 and 19 darts. Davies managed two 20-darters and hit a brilliant 100 outshot.
Davies, in his second game, came from 3-0 down to beat Andy Lincoln 5-3, while Doug Robson continued his fine form, beating Anth Charlton and matt Naisby, both 8-0, with a 180 in his second success.
Richie Nilsson enjoyed a great game aginst Anth Charlton, cruising home 8-0, while Bob Laybourne and Andy Chorley were nip and tuck all the way in a thrilling 4-4 draw.
Chorley succumbed 5-3 to Nilsson in his second match.
Bobby Turnbull showed his son Scott Turnbull why he’s in the top five, running out a comprehensive 7-1 winner. Shaun Turnbull had a hard game against Anth Charlton, holding his nerve to win 5-3.
