A night of double delight for Robinson

MARK Robinson jumped up five places in the Knack Darts Premier League with two excellent wins.

First up for “Big Robbo” was Spiller Henderson who hit a 180 and a 106 finish, but was still beaten 5-3 .

Neil Rose was swept aside 5-2 by Robinson.

Rose, though, did manage to get a win when he beat Neil Richardson 5-1.

Graham Mullen produced a brilliant performance which saw him hit three maximums to beat Jimmy Ashett 5-3.

Southwick’s Paul Williams produced the highest average of the season with a 5-0 win against Phil Dunn. Williams hit three maximums and won legs in 16,18,18,12 and 17 darts.

Kevin Guy remains a point clear of Williams at the top after an entertaining draw with Anth Skelton.

Eddie Ashman cruised to a 5-0 win against Barry Rutherford with two 180s and a 126 checkout in best legs of 17,18x2 and 21 darts.

Davey Thompson was pushed all the way by Ray Malarkey in a 5-3 win with Thompson’s winning legs being in 13, 20, 22, 15 and 18 darts.

Paul Gillibrand moved up two places to 11th with a hard-fought win against Alan Smith with Paul winning the last leg in a tremendous 14-darter.

Steve Skinner stayed eighth with a tense 4-4 draw against his Monday night darts captain Martin Price.
