Wearside League: Silksworth gave Stockton a scare
The two leading sides in the Wearside League both won last night '“ but Silksworth CW gave second-top Stockton Town a real scare.
Silksworth CW, for whom John Lloyd Fortune opened the scoring on 67 minutes.
The Teessiders, though, finished strongly, scoring three times in 11 minutes through Alan Cossavella, Chris Stockton and Tony Johnson to sink the gallant Wearsiders 3-1.
Leaders Redcar Athletic beat lowly Wolviston 3-1 , thanks to Christian Kamara, Michael Woodhouse and Andrew Jennings.
