GUS Poyet is itching to get Sunderland back to Wembley – even if the Black Cats’ Crystal Palace league tie is more important.

SAFC travel to Hull tomorrow for the FA Cup quarter final, where a win would take The Lads back to London for the semi-final.

But with Sunderland still battling to avoid relegation, Poyet admits his side’s home game against Crystal palace on March 15 is a much bigger fish to fry.

He said: “We don’t want to give anything away. We want to win the game, and the sooner we get back to our winning ways and feeling a little bit better, it’ll be the best for us to go into an absolutely massive game next week against Crystal Palace.

He added: “Normally you need to wait a year to wait a year to go back to Wembley. Normally you play one cup final and until next year’s cup, you’re not going to go back there”.

“But, for different reasons, for having to cupsand the decision to play the semi-final at Wembley, we are 90 minutes away.”
