Barton has been handed a one-game ban after being sent to the stands during his side’s 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers on Monday.

The incident occurred after Fleetwood saw a goal disallowed in the second half.

Ched Evans looked to have put his side ahead in a crucial game before the referee disallowed the goal following consultation with his linesman.
