The EFL have confirmed that promotion and relegation will be decided on a points per game (PPG) basis if seasons cannot be completed – but where would that leave Sunderland AFC in the final League One table?

While the EFL’s proposal still needs to pass a vote of clubs, it looks likely that League One will be decided by unweighted PPG if fixtures cannot be fulfilled.
